Dr (COL Ret) H Jeff Wright,
DO, FAAPMR

Dr Wright is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  He has spent the last 24 years in practice as a physician in a variety of roles in Texas and around the world in the US Army.  Dr Wright graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He did his internship in the University of Pittsburgh Medical System.  His residency training was done at the University of Virginia.  Dr Wright retired as a Colonel in the US Army in 2020 after beginning his Army career 28 years prior.  During his time in the military, he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation New Dawn.  He served as a Battalion Surgeon, Flight Surgeon, Special Operations Command Surgeon, Department Chief of Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Deputy Commander for Surgical Services at Carl R Darnall Army Medical Center.  During his service he was awarded the Legion of Merit, Order of Military Medical Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Combat Medical Badge, Combat Action Badge, Basic Parachutist Badge among numerous other awards.    Dr Wright’s passion as a physician is helping patients to be the best version of themselves.  He assists patients recovering from injury and by resisting loss of function through activity and medicine.  Dr Wright feels that we best serve our patients when they actively participate in the medical process and have the education to make good choices in their treatment.  He feels that in modern medicine too often patients are just treated for issues instead of maximizing their health.   Dr Wright resides in central Texas with his wife Meagan and their seven children.  He enjoys jiu-jitsu, boxing, hunting and working on his ranch when he is not practicing medicine.
